HR Officer (Generalist)
Role Overview
As an HR Officer (Generalist), responsible in supporting the day-to-day HR operations while fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture for our employees. This role is responsible for managing all facets of HR, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, compliance, and more. The HR Officer collaborates closely with department leaders to ensure that human resource practices align with the resort’s core values and contribute to both employee satisfaction and exceptional guest experiences.
Specific Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Administration, and Psychology.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HR Officer Generalist or in a similar HR role, ideally within the hospitality or luxury resort industry.
- Solid understanding of recruitment best practices, including sourcing techniques, interview methods, and candidate assessment.
- Strong knowledge of all facets of HR, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, compliance, and training.
- Proficiency in HRIS, Microsoft Office Suite, and employee management systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with candidates and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A keen understanding of the hospitality industry and its unique HR needs, particularly in a lury resort environment.
- Strong problem-solving abities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
