Reservations and Revenue Manager

Role Overview

The Reservations Manager will be responsible for all reservations and OTA business. Effectively and efficiently manage the Reservations team together with the Reservations & Revenue Manager by ensuring all inquiries are professionally dealt with, through maximizing revenue opportunities with upselling techniques and proactively converting sales inquiries thereby contributing to the organization’s profitability. This position will work closely with the Sales Managers, Marketing and Front Office teams.

Specific Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Economics, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • At least 10 years’ experience as Reservation/Revenue Manager with 5 years in a leadership position in a city or chain hotel.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in revenue management systems and reservations system.
  • Excellent understanding of pricing strategies, market segmentation, and distribution channels.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and formulate actionable recommendations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Experience with forecasting and budgeting processes.
  • Proficient in reservation systems (e.g., Opera, Sabre, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage high volumes of bookings across multiple channels.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to handle guest complaints with professionalism and diplomacy.
