Sales Account Manager

Role Overview

The Sales Account Manager primary function is to manage a designated portfolio of accounts (corporate, group business, travel trade) in a defined geographic area, by building and maintaining business relationships in order to maximize and drive revenues. This includes, but is not limited to, expanding the penetration of an account portfolio to identify new opportunities. Undertake proactive relationship management with existing accounts and develop new accounts to maximize market share and revenues.

Specific Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Tourism, Hospitality Management or related discipline
  • Extensive experience as a Sales Account Manager or Sales Account Executive, or similar role in the Sales Department
  • Preferably has experience from a 5-star hotel or resort
  • Service-oriented – ready to go the extra mile to deliver excellent customer experience
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with good command in writing & speaking English. Tailors message to appropriate audience. Able to speak other languages will be an added advantage.
  • Demonstrates self-confidence, energy and enthusiasm
  • Must be highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Possesses project management and time management skills.
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of sales processes
  • Possesses professional maturity, business acumen, and problem-solving skills
  • Possesses strong proactive and strategic sales skills
  • A team player, and possess good interpersonal skill.
  • Dynamic, fast learner and able to work in a fast-pace environment
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and operates office equipment skillfully.
